IMC - Cannot open scanned documents
In IMC RECORDS, incident reports, attachments tab. If you try to open a PDF attachment and it opens as garbled text please follow below:
Set Acrobat Reader as default for PDFs
1. Right click any PDF outside of IMC - such as a PDF on the shared drive
- Select OPEN WITH then select CHOOSE ANOTHER APP (see below)
2. Check the checkbox next to "Always use this app to open .PDF files
- Select Adobe Acrobat Reader DC at the top
- Click OK (see below)
- Close the PDF after it opens - you are now all set to open scanned documents in IMC
