Mitel Phones - Forward Calls to another extension or cell - Below are the instructions for new forwarding setups
On your Mitel 5330e Office Phone...To Program a number or ext and activate"
1. Hit the grey Settings Button
2. Select "Call Forwarding"
3. Select "Edit Default" (this is the default forwarding profile)
- or select Profiles at the bottom to create individual saved profiles for cell, office extensions, etc)
4. Select "Always: 2500"
5. Hit Backspace to remove 2500
6. Type in the ext you would like to forward to or for an external line such as a cell type 8+1+(area code)+number
- Example x2500 (voicemail)
- Cell/External example type: 818005551212
- to dial example number (800) 555-1212
7. Select "OK" to save the number
8. Select "Save" to save the default profile
9. Select "Activate" to activate the default profile - your calls are now forwarded
To Deactivate Forwarding:
1. Hit the grey Settings Button
2. Select "Call Forwarding"
3. Select "Deactivate"
For future call forwading needs: To Quickly Activate the pre-programmed Default profile
1. Hit the grey Settings Button
2. Select "Call Forwarding"
3. Select "Activate"
